Wayne Hatford Author Of Valentino Speaks: aWriter’sWords

Explain your philosophy of writing.

That whatever I write be as clear and cogent as it possibly can, inviting the reader to explore, not only the information that is being presented but also their own thinking on the matter. In other words, I want my writing to act as a catalyst, also to uplift, engage and, hopefully, entertain a little too. A tall order, perhaps, but I know it can be done, and I would cite “Valentino Speaks” as an example – at least that is my perception. Furthermore, good writing is sourced from the heart and soul even more than the mind, although the latter is very important for wordsmithing. I believe that the writer owes it to the reader to present the most sparkling copy that he or she can. As a result, any piece of writing, whether a book or a couple of paragraphs, has to be carefully constructed, edited and proofed , reflected upon and re-visited too, prior to being published.

Why did you write this book?

I was prompted to write this book for a number of reasons: to share my thoughts, act as a conduit for the Valentino essence to express his, raise awareness and expand consciousness on a wide variety of topics, and offer creative solutions to ordinary dilemmas, with the goal of helping people thrive in the midst of momentous change – which is what seems to be happening in almost everyone’s life right now.

Where do your ideas come from?

From Universal Mind, as does everyone’s. However, for them to be expressed, they first needed to be focused. Valentino’s essence was able to do just that, distilling larger themes into more manageable ideas and funneling them across the dimensional divide in such a way so as they might be shared. If I were not channeling another entity, I would still pretty much say the same thing. Most of what we write and say is channeled, if nothing more from us, to us. We, after all, are a part of Source.

What surprising things did you learn while writing this book?

Wow, this is a tough question because there was so much. What was most astonishing, perhaps, was to note how much my personal life was mirroring what I was writing about at the time. I learned that I still had a lot to learn, and the more I learned, the more I realized what I did not know. The essay on “Time” was one of the most revelatory. The Valentino essence was able to explain it in such a way that I really ‘got’ what the NOW is all about. So much of the information in my book expanded my consciousness and/or perspectives too as much of it was completely new – a total of 180 topics, many of which have never been explored before through this type of lens.

Do you have a special routine you go through before you begin writing?

Because the material in my book was channeled using the medium of automatic writing, I did have a special routine which involved cleansing the space vibrationally, setting up the room and my work area in a certain way and asking for the Valentino essence to be present before I started to write. All my writing was done late at night too, because that is when there is the least interference on an energetic level, and far less electricity is being used.

Who will enjoy and benefit from reading this book?

Seekers of truth of all stripes. What will people gain from reading this book? Personal insight, wisdom and greater sense of alignment with themselves and the “All That Is.” And for those who are ready, it can lead to quantum leaps in consciousness. Warm, witty, breezy and engaging, “Valentino Speaks” successfully combines metaphysical thought with fun and a sense of adventure.
